Days 3-4: Butterston Loch  | The Heart of Land Rover Country

Journey from Edinburgh to Land Rover Experience Centre Scotland, on the peaceful banks of Butterstone Loch.

Take a picturesque drive through the mountains of a neighboring private estate, culminating at Edradour Distillery. Partake in a whisky tasting, sampling the classics to the wine finishes and the formidable heavily peated single malt.

Travel northward into the Atholl Estate for an exhilarating off-road drive, fording streams and observing the area’s abundance of wildlife.

Tour the Blair Castle.

Day 5: Auchanfree Estate | A Dramatic Drive

Auchnafree Estate is today’s beauty spot, a hidden glen with outstanding panoramic mountain views and a resident population of red deer, grouse, pheasants, Blue Mountain hares and golden eagles.

After a tailgate picnic, drive into the Glenturret Estate, a grouse moor of about 6,000 acres and home to the beautiful Loch Turret.

A drive through the estate provides the ideal path to your home for the night: Gleneagles. One sight of the green, hilly landscape below will help you understand why the outdoor game of golf was developed here around six hundred years ago.

Day 6: Depart Edinburgh

Privately transfer to the Edinburgh Airport for your flight home.
